Day 1: Hello, world!
This is my first time doing this so bear with me. I've always been told I have a flair for writing, maybe they were lying? Anyway, today is mother's day. The US Army has decided that they had other plans for the hubsters and sent him over to the sandbox. I explained this to Ethan (daddy going to the sandbox) and he got all excited that daddy would be making him a castle. Too cute. My wonderful husband sent me the most beautiful bouquet of flowers as a surprise. Anyone who knows me knows that it's gosh darn near impossible to surprise me since I will badger you until you give in. So imagine my surprise! I'll post a picture once I figure that one out. My goal for the deployment is to learn one new thing a day. Today's new thing? Making baked french fries. Hey, I keep my expectations small. (as should you with this blog!) Not shabby, I might say. Ethan ate them but that doesn't say much. Mason ATTEMPTED to eat it, gnaw on is more his speed. Tomorrow is Ethan's Spring Sing at his preschool and I definitely will add more tomorrow. Thanks for reading this! Hope I didn't scare you off. :-)
